Representative Tim Mahoney
professes to be in favor of Open Records. But when he was asked if he
would post his expense reports on line, he said,

So how open does he want to be?
And why shouldn’t the Open Records law apply to legislators?
Mahoney is also opposed to
including email as public records and he wants the new law to pertain to new or
future records only. Email recently shown in media reports about
legislative staff bonuses show the importance of making past records public.
What a hypocrite. Yet in spite of all this, media across the state makes Mahoney out to be an Open Records Hero. Where is the justice?
